Saudi Railway Company

The Saudi Railway Company (SAR) is one of two state-owned company that operates Saudi Arabia's rail network.
SAR operate the 2750 km. north-south railway line and a passenger line from Riyadh to Al-Haditha, Saudi Arabia, nearby the Jordanian border.〔(Saudi Landbridge rail project loses momentum )〕

== Network ==
The SAR rail network consist of the following main lines:
* SAR Riyadh-Qurayyat Line: Riyadh, Majma'a, Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and Al-Qurayyat, used by passenger trains.
* SAR North South Railway Line: Riyadh, Sudair, Qassim, Hail, Ras Al-Khair, Jubail, Al-Jawf, Al-Basaita, and Al-Haditha., used by freight trains 〔(SAR railway map )〕
